Cook and Clay

Foodworks Cookery School is part of the beautiful Colesbourne Estate where game birds make their way through our charming woods and fields. Taking inspiration from traditional country pursuits, our Cook and Clay package brings together the field and the food mixer.

We can arrange accommodation at Cowley Manor Spa or the local Cotswold Inns which are 5 minutes from Foodworks.

A typical day would begin in the kitchen with options as Game On, Classic Seasonal British or Bread Making. After a demonstration on how to create either the perfect loaf or 3 course meal, the teams would work together to produce either a delicious lunch or a basket full of breads. While the bread was proving, the teams would create a seasonal main dish to be enjoyed alongside the bread for lunch. In the afternoon, you would exchange aprons for guns and head over to Ian Coley shooting school.

Foodworks and our local shooting school, located 5 mins from Foodworks have partnered to run these exclusive days. The team at the shooting school have a deserved reputation for being personable and professional. Top shots and beginners alike are found daily enjoying lessons from instructors who have received national and international honours in facilities which rank the school as one of the best in the UK.
