Maurice Chaplais
Maurice is an internationally renowned master baker who has been developing recipes for as long as he can remember, perfecting new breads and processes at the highly acclaimed bakery, The Flour Bag in Gloucestershire. He has featured on TV and in Henrietta Green's BBC Foodlover Guide to Britain and Linda Collister's book Country Breads.
When he's not running courses at the Foodworks, Maurice travels the world teaching European bread making and helping to set up bakeries in many different countries. He also runs his own gourmet food shop, delicatessen, bakery and cafe, Maison Chaplais in Cheltenham where he sells all his exquisite homemade breads.
