Forage and Feast with guest forager Owen Raybould

On this amazing one day course run by foraging instructor Owen Raybould you will learn to safely collect a range of wild greens from the countryside surrounding the Foodworks CookerySchool including the beautiful Colesboune Park Estate.  We will then return to the cookery school for a cookery session that will include a light lunch.  There will be a demonstrations and some practical creating fabulous dishes with all our findings.  The course includes lunch with a glass of wine, a goody bag to take home with dishes you have made from our foraged ingredients, recipe sheets and a guide to help you with all the do's and dont's when foraging by yourself.  The course will include a 3 mile plant identification walk where we will cover at least 20 different wild plants relevant to foragers.

This course is suitable for those who are either starting out into the world of foraging or for those who are already budding foragers.

Please bring outdoor clothing, walking shoes, drink, notepad/pen (optional) and a camera/phone to record the plant info.

  • Nettle soup with hogweed
  • Hazelnut and nettle spelt bread
  • Wild garlic pesto to take home
