We have all fallen in love with The Great British Bake Off and imagine creating our very own show stopping desserts. This course will give you a solid introduction to sweet treats, and the confidence to be creative in your own kitchen.
Patisserie can be intimidating because, unlike savoury cooking, it's more tricky than adding a 'pinch of this' and a 'dash of that'. Whilst it does require more precision, once the foundations have been covered, there are endless possibilities for preparing impressive desserts. We will discover the secret of successful choux, perfect pastry and superb sponges. The course will also show you how to make your plates look as fantastic as they taste, and tips for finishing and decorating your dishes.
