Foodworks Cookery School offers a two tier tuition system for those interested in working a season at a ski resort. Our courses cover a diverse range of topics from kitchen safety, meal planning, budgeting and housekeeping to the dishes that may be required throughout each day including those for children, vegetarians and anyone with special dietary requirements.
For those with no experience in the kitchen we recommend a two-week course to ensure you are fully confident and have a diverse range of recipes at your fingertips. Our one-week course is aimed at basic cooks who are looking to adapt their skills to a chalet kitchen.
After completing your course you are provided with a Foodworks Cookery School certificate. We then take the time to discuss CV tips, interview advice and your reference from the Head Chef. You will also be provided with A Foodworks Cookery School recipe book and manual which includes a menu planner.
During your course there will be a visit from representatives from ski companies who will chat to you about the role of a chalet host and offer top tips on finding the best jobs
