Description

Step into a world of vibrant flavours and rich history in this hands-on cookery class inspired by Flavours Without Borders 80 recipes connecting cultures and cuisines, the debut cookbook by chef, author, and food storyteller Radhika Howarth (@radikalkitchen).

Travel along the ancient Silk Route, sail the aromatic Spice Route, and discover the Portuguese culinary legacy in Goa — all through the lens of delicious, accessible recipes that bring global heritage to your plate.

In this immersive class, you'll cook a vibrant menu that showcases the rich cultural influences on Indian cuisine. Dishes include Punjabi Rajma (comforting kidney beans simmered in a spiced tomato gravy), Malabar prawn curry with its coastal coconut warmth, cabbage thoran—a South Indian stir-fry with mustard seeds and curry leaves, and a cooling beetroot raita. You'll also make Goan Chicken Cafrael, a dish with Portuguese-African roots, believed to have travelled to Goa via Mozambique during the colonial era.

Each dish tells a story of movement, trade, and cultural exchange — and you'll experience it all through hands-on cooking and vibrant storytelling from Radhika herself.

Cook alongside Radhika in a fun, hands-on session where you'll learn flavour-packed recipes and watch a live demo from the author herself. As you stir, season and taste, you’ll also hear fascinating stories from her book about how migration, trade, and colonial history have shaped the Indian cuisine we love today.
