Description:

Summer @ Foodworks

Whether it is a humble tomato or a new season wild girolle, lobster of Jersey royals, summer is an exciting time of the year for chefs and food lovers alike.  Join Dean, an experienced Chef Tutor, for a hands-on day of cooking and learning.  On this course you will use summer ingredients to create a variety of seasonal recipes.  Learn new knife skills and learn cooking techniques to allow you, if entertaining, more time with your guests rather than tied to the stove.  Enjoy a complimentary glass of wine with the results of your cooking and take home examples to impress your family.  At the end of the day, you will have the confidence to recreate your dishes at home with the enthusiasm to learn more.

Example Menu:

  • Summery quails in tomato and tarragon dressing
  • Sweetcorn and spring onion risotto
  • Grilled chicken with tagliatelle and wild mushroom veloute
  • Baked white peaches with thyme ice-cream
